Clearly one of the best books I've read.
Excellent and factual, but have to reread as Muslim history is SO complex!
Reading this will give you clear understanding on the subject. These authors have been in the midst of the situation and tell it like it is! I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in what's happening in the world around us and why.
After reading this book, my opinion of what constitutes "good writing" changed. WOW! Did I come away informed and motivated?! I don't usually hang onto every word of a non-fiction book, but I found I just couldn't put it down. I would highly recommend this book to anyone concerned with where our nation is headed with terrorism, but especially for heads of households.
I sent this to my son in jail and he said it was very interesting and the cell mates all wanted to read it. The book gives a real prospective of how terrible isis really is.
This book is the most important work I have read regarding world politics in the past 5 years. I applaud the authors for their careful research and ability to speak with clarity.
Terry and Jim did their homework and colored outside the safe lines of political correctness and religiosity to bring us a manual for our times. The content was useful and relevant, and the writing style engaging - a great combination for engagement. I read the book from cover to cover ... in one sitting. Now I'm going through it again, to pick up anything I may have missed or dropped. Unmasking ISIS is superior to any of the dozen books I've read to date on the same subject, so I'm recommending it to my friends enthusiastically!
